Jen's after-party perfection

Jennifer Aniston makes a quick clothing change and heads back out on the town to The Bounty Hunter after-party held at New York City hotspot Tao on Tuesday (March 16).
At the premiere, the 41-year-old actress admitted what she often has trouble with while driving. “I would say stop signs. Stoplights,” Jen said. “Let’s face it. I’m not a very good driver.” She adds, “As my friends breathe a sigh of relief and go, ‘Finally she admits it!’ ”
As for Gerard’s car accidents, he told USA Today, “I’m the wrong person to answer that. I’ve had a few. When I was a drunken law student or when I was traveling the world, I was a little crazy. Mostly stupid stuff.” Did he ever spend the night in jail? “No. Yeah. No. I’ll keep you guessing on that.”

LV fall 2010

I don't know about you, but I was a little disappointed. Hard to imagine, coming from the world's biggest Vuitton-follower, but I think it was a little bit boring in comparison to the other outrageous things he's already presented. I picked out the most beautiful things, but feel free to go and see the other pieces as well (cf. Style.com) although it isn't really worth the time. Marc went back to display-bags and wide-bosom-longskirts. But what I did notice were the lovely shoes coming with the package: classy and beautiful. Jacobs reintroduced models like Laetitia Casta, Bar Refaeli, Catherine McNeil, Karolina Kurkova, and finally Elle Macpherson because of their figure, obviously. Focussing on the breasts and the wide bottom, he couldn't have chosen any better. But is the whole concept of the show suitable for modern fashion ideals? Let's make that a poll!

I especially like the campaign's ad poster, watch the joy of designing beeming of of it! When? Tuesday, March 23 - Fri, March 26, 2010. Where? Tokyo Midtown Hall : Hall A/B and other venues. Give yourself a BAD color

Fall 2010 seems to have a special trend coming up: strong eye shadow and painted lids are totally en vogue for the following months. BADgal blue mascara brightens the eyes (blue + white = bright) and enhances the iris' color. Price ticket : $19. Being a BAD gal? Let's wait and see...

Alexander's waving goodbye

Filled with grief we look back on the many years Alexander McQueen was one of the most influencial and creative designers ever. His last works were given final honors by his team of designers. They touched the very core of his designing, finnishing once again dream-alike pieces of art, as we will always remember every show of Mr. McQueen. The ensembles are full of medieval beauty and religious iconography and were inspired by (as Alexander called it) the 'Dark Ages'.

Somehow, that one outfit encapsulated everything about McQueen: both the tailoring and the romanticism. Perhaps he wouldn't have chosen to show it in such a simple and intimate way—in a small, ornate room to privately invited groups of editors—because that left out the full realization of concept and showmanship that equally drove his creativity. But the circumstances, sad as they are, allowed his friends and colleagues to share a long and poignant moment to look at what the man achieved, and to grieve for him.

The Oscars

Hi folks!

I know I've been away for a while but I have an excuse: just bought a new Mac and I had to experiment a little of course. But now I'm back, along with the oscars! If you're not a caveman, you'll have heard of the oscar-nominations of last sunday the 7th of march. On this 82nd Oscar-award-nomination the first female director ever won the Oscar for best Director and Best Picture. Kathryn Bigelow really had a reason to cheer this week, it's not every day that your movie gets 9 academy award nominations and wins 6 oscars!
